Bird Academy (BESTT), the education arm of Bird Group, a travel technology and hospitality conglomerate bagged two awards from IATA, South Asia’s Top Performing Accredited Training School (ATS) 2019 and South Asia’s Top Performing Authorised Training Center (ATC) 2019. On receiving the prestigious IATA certificate and award Mrs. Radha Bhatia, Chairperson, Bird Group said, ‘’We are delighted to receive this honor from IATA. On receiving the award for South Asia’s Top Accredited Training School(ATS) and Authorised Training Center (ATC) for 2019, Bird Academy qualifies as one of the Regional Top Performers and can enjoy benefits such as increased exposure through a dedicated IATA web page and a special certificate to mark this achievement. The top performing ATC recognition identifies Bird Education Society for Travel & Tourism as a center of excellence for training. In 2018 Bird Education Society for Travel & Tourism achieved impressive results, demonstrated professionalism in delivering IATA training programs and commitment to student success. The criteria used to distinguish BESTT from the rest of the IATA ATS members in the region were the number of overall students trained in 2017, high graduate success rate and the year on year growth for 2018 DGR student registrations over 2017.
