Our key initiatives include 100% recycling of water, discarding single use plastic, in house water packaged in glassware, replacing plastic, zero wastage in our kitchens, take-away carry bags made with certified recycled paper, in room amenities made with high quality bamboo replacing plastic, biodegradable bags for waste disposal and more. At Roseate Hotels & Resorts, we believe in responsible production, consumption & disposal. All the produce that comes from Roseate Farms is 100 % organic, which is used across our kitchens. One of our unique initiatives is the Hydroponics setup, a type of horticulture which involves growing plants without soil, by using water-based mineral nutrient solutions in aqueous solvents.
In another pioneering initiative which reiterates the fact that luxury and sustainability can co-exist, Roseate Hotels & Resorts entered into a path breaking collaboration to set up a water farm at which renewable drinking water is sourced from the sky and sustainably bottled for guests at The Roseate New Delhi. This patented technology uses only the warmth and energy of the sun to draw pure, constantly replenished water vapor out of the sky and convert it into top-quality drinking water. The water produced is safely rebottled in recyclable glass bottles, which are collected, cleaned and refilled on site.
